THE LAYOUT
OF HIGH BARN
High Barn is actually
two barns. One is for living in. The other has a large games room. Access to the whole property
is from a roadside parking bay - with enough room for two large cars (estate
size) and one small car - through a gate in
the garden wall. This takes you into a mature, attractive garden between the
two barns. There is a picnic table and barbecue and it is
gated so it is safe for young children.
The house has
oil-fired central heating, and is
on two floors. The ground floor is spacious and open-plan; the left side is a
large comfortable sitting-room with wood-burning stove, TV and video. The right-side
is a kitchen/dining room with a choice for cooking of Aga, an electric hob
and eye-level oven, or microwave.
The top
floor has four bedrooms and two bathrooms (a large master bedroom with ensuite
bathroom, a double bedroom, a twin-bedded room, and a fourth small bedroom with two
single beds, and another bathroom).
The upper
floor of the other barn is an open room with table tennis where children can play.
